RULES OVERVIEW (Please refer to rulebook)

Randomly place the 81 discs on the board such that no two of the same color are orthogonally adjacent (diagonally adjacent is OK).

Players alternate turns taking discs from the board according to the following rules:

1) Discs may only be taken if they have at least two adjacent exposed sides.

2) A player must always take at least one disc on their turn (that is, players may not pass) and may take as many additional discs as they like on a turn, as long as all of those discs are the same color as the first one. They are not required to take all of the available discs of that color and may opt to leave one or more behind.

3) A disc may not be taken if it would divide the remaining discs into two separate groups (counting orthogonal connections only).

When a player takes discs, they should place them in a row on the table behind the correspondingly colored triangle on the board.

If a player takes their 5th, 7th, or 9th disc of a color, they should place it on the corresponding circle on their side of the board to make it clear how close they are to reaching one of the three win conditions.

WINNING THE GAME

A player wins the game immediately if they achieve either of the following:

Collect all 9 discs of one color
Collect at least 7 discs each of three adjacent colors in a row.

If neither player is able to accomplish either of these, continue play until all the discs have been taken. The winner is the player with the majority of majorities (5 or more discs in each of 5 or more colors).

Place land:

Your first land starts your 4x4 grid, but in the end it might be in any position on the grid.

Subsequent lands must be placed touching an edge of a previously-placed land. You can rotate lands freely. Your grid of tiles cannot grow longer than 4 in any direction.

AUCTION LAND!

Choose land, just like when you claimed a land to place. Place 1 money onto each land tile you skip.

In a 2-player game, the other player simply makes one single bid.

With 3+ players, ALL other players are now 'active' and any other player may make a big (higher than the previously-highest) until everyone runs out of time or passes. NOTE: FULL TURN BASED FUNCTIONALITY COMING LATER.

Buy back?

How many land tiles are in your biggest contiguous theme park shape? Score some amount. (Check scoring grid)

How many land tiles have water touching the edge of your grid? Score some amount. (Check that same scoring grid.)

How many separate housing shapes are there? How many separate forest shapes? Multiply those 2 numbers together and score that amount.

Tiles are worth different amounts. A solid house or tree is clearly worse than one with icons on it, or a double-terrain tile.
Having said that, each tile is worth a good amount - not just because of what's on it but because it can help you towards your next bonus land!

It's usually worth prioritising bonus lands over a 'safe' placement.

Remember - money isn't worth anything at the end! But running out of money mid-game can be disastrous in a 2p game.

The more players there are, the more you have to 'follow the trends' when bidding.

Bonus land is super-important! (When you make a line of 4.) Without bonus land, 2 is the maximum you can build on your turn, and 1 on someone else's. So 1 bonus is a big deal! The first bonus land can come after your 4th land. Then after 2 more normal placements. Then again after 2 normal placements. After that, every normal placement will trigger a bonus land. So getting those lines of 4 is important and you want to take advantage of that end-game accelaration. So it's kinda important to not fall behind unless you get a LOT of money by doing so and can catch up later.

If you're unsure which land to build/auction, going for the free option means you keep more money!
Most pts wins.

===Overview===

Be the first to place all your tokens on the frame tiles in your display by fulfilling the objectives on the tiles.

===Turn===

One player takes the bag and drawers players+1 number of tiles (so 5 in a 4 player game)

That player then selects one tile from those on offer and adds it orthogonally adjacent to those in their display

In clockwise order, the other players do the same

When it comes to the final tile, the bag drawer takes this one too

Then the bag is passed on for a new bag drawer

===Tasks===

Tiles are made up of objectives (number in circle) and frames (border)

The objectives tell you how many frames of what colour need to be in a contiguous group touching that tile.

Some tiles may have frames that help satisfy their own objective. e.g. a tile with objective 3 green with 1 green frame, next to a tile with 2 green frames and no objectives, satisfies the objective of 3 green frames

Once an objective has been met, cover the objective with one of your tokens. Use all your tokens to win.

There are four types of objectives

One type requires a number of a single colour frame

Another requires a combo of two colours in any amount equaling the total

Another gives an OPTION of two colours, but only ONE can be used to complete

The final type requires one objective to be completed before the other, shown by an arrow

===Game End===

The game can end immediately if a player places their final token on an objective and wins!

Alternatively, if the final tiles are drawn and no one has achieved this yet, after this round the player with the most completed objectives wins

(2 players, from 8 years old)

===COMPONENTS===
1 board with 37 squares
18 «White» pieces with values 1, 2, 3 and 4
18 «Red» pieces with values 1, 2, 3 and 4
1 «Totem» piece

Circles are worth 1, two lines worth 2, a Y is worth 3, and X is worth 4.

===GAME PURPOSE===
To encircle the Totem and get more points
than your opponent in the final count.

===SET UP===
Place the board between the two players and
place the Totem on the center square. Players
choose 18 pieces of one color and place them
in front of them.

===HOW TO PLAY===
The player with the white pieces plays first.
Players take turns moving the Totem on the
board and then placing one of their pieces
around it until it is completely surrounded and
immobilized.

===MOVING WITH THE TOTEM===
Each player in turn moves the Totem one
square directly around it in any direction as
long as the destination square is free.
Then they place one of their pieces on another
free square around the new position of the
Totem before handing over to the opponent.
Players can move the Totem several squares
by jumping over their own pieces, only if
they form a continuous line (diagonal or
orthogonal) leading to a free square (it is
therefore also possible to jump over only one
piece further if it leads to a free square).
It is forbidden to jump over the pieces of the
opponent’s color.

===POSITIONING OF PIECES===
Each time a player has moved the Totem, they
must place one of their pieces (of any value)
on one of the free squares directly around it (8
squares maximum).
The value of the pieces played is chosen by the
players according to the strategy they choose
to adopt.

===SPECIAL CASE===
When a player has just moved the Totem and
all the squares around it are occupied, they
must play one of their pieces on any other
available square of the board.

===END OF THE GAME===
The game ends when a player can no
longer move the Totem (at this point, the
Totem must be encircled). Each player
then calculates the total value of the pieces
surrounding the Totem (8 pieces in total).
The player with the most points wins the
game.

===GAME ENDS IN A TIE===
If both players have the same score when
the Totem is encircled, the player with the
most pawns of his color wins the game.
If both score and color are equal, the game
ends in a tie.
