Chicken!
Overview
Welcome to Fox Hollow!

It is a lovely place, but it has a fox problem. As a farmer, your job is to raise Chickens while avoiding the Foxes.

On your turn, roll dice to collect Chickens and hatch additional dice. You may push your luck for more points, but if you roll 3 or more Foxes, you bust and score nothing for the turn.

The first player to reach 25 points wins the game.

----

Components
* 1 Cloth Board
* 8 Player Tokens
* 4 White Dice (2 chickens, 2 eggs, 1 fox, 1 blank)
* 4 Yellow Dice (3 chickens, 1 egg, 1 fox, 1 blank)
* 4 Orange Dice (1 chicken, 1 double chicken, 2 foxes, 1 blank)

----

Setup
# Place the Cloth Board within reach of all players.
# Each player chooses a Player Token and places it on the starting space.
# Set aside any unused Player Tokens.
# Arrange the Yellow Dice and Orange Dice in rows inside the Coop.
# The player who most recently held a chicken goes first.
#* If no player has held a chicken, choose the starting player randomly.
# Give all 4 White Dice to the starting player.

----

Playing Your Turn
At the beginning of your turn, choose one of the following:

* Go For It!
* Chicken Out!

----

Go For It!
Take all the dice passed to you and roll them.

----

Chicken Out!
# Return all Yellow and Orange Dice passed to you to the Coop.
# Lose 1 point.
# Take the 4 White Dice and roll them.

Important: If you Chicken Out while your Player Token is still on the starting space, you do not lose 1 point.

----

Resolving a Roll
After rolling:

* Place all Chickens you rolled to the right.
* Place all Foxes you rolled to the left.
* Leave all Eggs and Blank Dice in the middle.

Chickens can score points at the end of your turn.

Foxes can cause you to bust.

If you ever have 3 or more Foxes showing across all your dice, you immediately bust.

----

Hatching Dice
If you did not bust, hatch additional dice for each Egg you rolled.

For each Egg:

# Take 1 die from the Coop.
# Add it to the dice in the middle.

When adding dice:

# Add Yellow Dice first.
# Add Orange Dice only when no Yellow Dice remain in the Coop.

Orange Dice are riskier, but they can also provide greater rewards.

If no dice remain in the Coop:

* Do not add a die for that Egg.

Newly added dice are treated as Blank Dice until they are rolled.

----

Reroll or Stop
After hatching dice, choose one of the following:

* Reroll
* Count Your Chickens

----

Reroll
You must reroll all dice remaining in the middle.

This includes:

* Blank Dice
* Dice showing Eggs
* Newly hatched dice

You receive only 1 reroll per turn.

After rerolling:

# Separate the newly rolled Chickens and Foxes.
# Check whether you busted.
# If you did not bust, hatch any newly rolled Eggs.
# Count your Chickens.

You do not roll newly hatched dice after your reroll because you only receive one reroll per turn.

----

Count Your Chickens
If your turn ends with fewer than 3 Foxes, score your Chickens.

* Each regular Chicken is worth 1 point.
* Each Double Chicken on an Orange Die is worth 2 points.

Move your Player Token forward 1 space for each point scored.

Then pass all your dice to the next player clockwise.

It is now that player's turn.

----

You Busted!
If 3 or more Foxes are showing across all your dice:

# Your turn ends immediately.
# Score 0 points.
# Return all Yellow and Orange Dice to the Coop.
# Pass only the 4 White Dice to the next player clockwise.

It is now that player's turn.

----

End of the Game
When a player ends their turn with 25 or more points, the game ends immediately.

That player wins.

----

Base Game Clarifications
* You may reroll only once per turn.
* You must reroll every die remaining in the middle.
* Chickens and Foxes that have been set aside are not rerolled.
* Newly hatched dice count as Blank Dice until rolled.
* Eggs do nothing if no dice remain in the Coop.
* A Double Chicken is worth 2 points.
* Busting causes you to score 0 points for the entire turn.
* Chickening Out returns all Yellow and Orange Dice to the Coop.
* Chickening Out does not cost a point while you remain on the starting space.

----

Eggspansion!
The Eggspansion! adds two new farm friends and the Seed Bag.

With the expansion:

* The dice available in the Coop change throughout the game.
* Players have new ways to score Chickens.
* Players have new ways to hatch dice.
* Blue the Dog can help protect players from Foxes.

Unless specifically changed below, use all normal Chicken! rules.

----

Eggspansion Components
* 1 Cloth Seed Bag
* 1 Blue the Dog Die
* 1 Mother Hen Die

----

Eggspansion Setup
Replace the normal setup for Yellow and Orange Dice with the following:

# Place all non-White Dice into the Seed Bag.

This includes:

* Yellow Dice
* Orange Dice
* Blue the Dog Die
* Mother Hen Die

# Draw 5 random dice from the Seed Bag.
# Place those 5 dice in the Coop.
# Place the Seed Bag within reach of all players.
# Give the starting player the 4 White Dice as normal.

----

The Seed Bag
The Seed Bag holds the non-White Dice that are not currently:

* In the Coop
* In a player's dice pool

When dice are returned to the Seed Bag, place them inside without looking.

When drawing a random die, draw without looking inside the bag.

----

Eggspansion Hatching Rule
Whenever you hatch a new die, choose one of the following:

* Take any 1 available die from the Coop.
* Draw 1 random die from the Seed Bag.

Add the selected die to the dice in the middle.

The newly hatched die is treated as blank until it is rolled.

If no dice are available in the Coop or Seed Bag:

* Do not add another die.

----

Busting with the Eggspansion
When you bust:

# Score 0 points.
# Return all non-White Dice in your current dice pool to the Seed Bag.
# Leave all dice already in the Coop where they are.
# Draw random dice from the Seed Bag until the Coop contains 5 dice.
# Pass the 4 White Dice to the next player clockwise.

----

Chickening Out with the Eggspansion
When you Chicken Out:

# Lose 1 point unless you are still on the starting space.
# Return all non-White Dice in your current dice pool to the Seed Bag.
# Leave all dice already in the Coop where they are.
# Draw random dice from the Seed Bag until the Coop contains 5 dice.
# Take the 4 White Dice and roll them.

----

Blue the Dog
Blue the Dog has two special results:

* Happy Dog
* Bark!

----

Happy Dog
Happy Dog is worth:

* 1 point when Counting Your Chickens

However, Happy Dog remains with the dice in the middle.

If you choose to reroll:

* You must reroll the Happy Dog result with the rest of the dice in the middle.

Happy Dog is not set aside like a regular Chicken.

----

Bark!
Blue comes to the rescue and scares away 1 Fox.

When Bark is rolled:

# Place Blue the Dog to the left near your Fox area.
# Cancel 1 Fox for the current turn.

Only uncanceled Foxes count when determining whether you bust.

Example:

* You have 3 Foxes and 1 Bark.
* Bark cancels 1 Fox.
* You have only 2 uncanceled Foxes, so you do not bust.

Bark does not score points.

----

Mother Hen
Mother Hen has two special results:

* Chick
* Double Chicken

----

Chick
Chick acts as both:

* 1 Egg
* 1 point when Counting Your Chickens

When Chick is rolled:

# Hatch 1 new die into your dice pool.
# Keep the Chick with the dice in the middle.

Because Chick counts as an Egg, it must be rerolled if you choose to reroll your dice.

----

Double Chicken
Mother Hen's Double Chicken is worth:

* 2 points when Counting Your Chickens

Treat it like the Double Chicken result on an Orange Die.

----

Eggspansion Turn Summary
On your turn:

# Choose Go For It! or Chicken Out!
# Roll your dice.
# Place regular Chickens to the right.
# Place Foxes to the left.
# Resolve Happy Dog, Bark, Chick, and Double Chicken results.
# Check whether you have 3 or more uncanceled Foxes.
# Hatch 1 die for each Egg and Chick.
# Choose whether to reroll all dice remaining in the middle.
# After rerolling, resolve the new results.
# Check for a bust again.
# Hatch any newly rolled Eggs or Chicks.
# Count your Chickens.

----

Eggspansion Clarifications
* Blue the Dog and Mother Hen are non-White Dice.
* Happy Dog scores 1 point but must be rerolled if you choose to reroll.
* Chick scores 1 point and hatches 1 die.
* Chick must be rerolled if you choose to reroll.
* Bark cancels 1 Fox for the current turn.
* Only uncanceled Foxes count toward busting.
* Regular Chickens and Double Chickens are set aside and are not rerolled.
* Dice already in the Coop stay there when a player busts or Chickens Out.
* After busting or Chickening Out, refill the Coop until it contains 5 dice.
* When hatching, you may choose a visible die from the Coop or draw randomly from the Seed Bag.
* Newly hatched dice are treated as blank until rolled.
To win

First Giants
In this tactical engine-building game for 2-5 players, you lead rival museums striving to curate the most prestigious dinosaur exhibits. The core challenge lies in the dual-use cards: keep them in your workshop for powerful ongoing abilities, or move them to your exhibit for victory points, losing their mechanical benefits forever.

Gameplay & Actions
Players take turns clockwise. On your turn, choose from the following strategic actions:

* The Excavation (Collecting Resources): Visit one of the three specialized dig sites:
** The Mountains & The Desert: Focus on gathering specific Fossil Tokens (Bones). These are required to "complete" dinosaur cards before they can be displayed.
** The Jungle: This site provides Amber. Amber is a versatile "wild" resource used to substitute for missing fossils or to trigger special "Breakthrough" actions.
* The Workshop (Engine Building): When you acquire a Dinosaur Card, place it in your Workspace. While here, the card provides passive buffs:
** Action Efficiency: Some cards reduce the cost of future excavations.
** Resource Boosts: Others grant extra tokens whenever you visit a specific dig site.
* The Exhibit (Scoring): Move a card from your Workspace to your Museum Board.
** The Trade-off: You immediately score the card's Prestige Points, but you must flip the card or move it to the display area where its abilities are no longer active.

News Tokens & Media Hype
* Earning News Tokens: These represent public interest in your museum. You earn them by completing specific sets (e.g., three carnivores) or being the first to reach certain milestones.
* Utility: News Tokens can be spent for one-time immediate bonuses (like drawing extra cards) or kept until the end of the game for significant bonus Prestige Points.

Strategic Amber Usage
Amber is the most flexible resource in the game. Beyond its use as a wild card, you can spend large quantities of Amber to:
# Secure Initiative: Move your marker to the first position in the turn order for the next round.
# Double Action: Perform a second main action during your current turn, which can be a game-winning move.

End of Game & Scoring
The game end is triggered when a player takes the last Set token from the supply or when the deck is empty after a player refills a Dig Site.
* Scoring Checklist: Total your Prestige from displayed Dinosaurs + Bonus points from News Tokens + Points for completed Fossil Sets + Remaining Amber.
* Winner: The player with the highest total Prestige is declared the master curator.
# Choose an empty slot with a pearl corresponding to the value of one die.
# Write the value of another dice in the chosen spot.
# Add the value of the leftover dice to the previous total in the leftmost free spot in the sun row.
If you fill a slot with a sun hat on the top, you can choose the value you will add to sun during this turn (1 to 6, replace the sun die).

Zones
Player board is divided in 5 zones, each with it's own write condition rule.
If there is no possible slot for a player with current dice, he/she choose witch die he/she add to Sun.
If the die value used in a slot is the same as the pearl value, the pearl is scribbled and you win 1 point (starfish).

Carb
If you fill a slot with a crab at the bottom, you may copy the die value on a valid adjacent top, bottom, left or right slot, even in a different zone. You then gain this new slot bonuses.

Shellfish
Player(s) with the most shellfishes at the end of the game wins 5 points (starfish).

Froggy: the sun hat
If you fill a slot with a sun hat on the top, you can choose the value you will add to sun during this turn (1 to 6, replace the sun die).

Zones
Player board is divided in 5 zones, each with it's own write condition rule.
If there is no possible slot for a player with current dice, he/she choose witch die he/she add to Sun.

1. Beach cabins
Top and bottom parts of a cabin have to contain the same die value.

2. Giants Koi
There is no priority between Koi, but strict ascending or descending order have to be respected.

3. Seaboats
For each line, adjacent slots can't contain same die values.

4. Bottles
All values written in this zone have to be the same.

5. Seagulls
All values written in this zone have to be different.

Complete a zone
If a player write a die in every slot in a zone, he/she immediately win points (starfish) or shellfish in the banner.

The end
The game ends when the last sun is filled (after 20 turns) or if a player reaches or exceeds 62 suns.

Melds
Minimum 3 cards per meld:

* Set: 3+ cards of the same rank (e.g., 7♠ 7♥ 7♦)

Wild cards (jokers + round wild) substitute for any card.

Aces are high or low in runs (A-2-3 or Q-K-A) but not both (K-A-2 is invalid).

Going Out
* You must meld your entire hand in valid combinations
* You must have a card to discard after drawing
* No partial melds — you cannot lay down melds until you can go out completely
* Once a player goes out, all other players get one final turn

BGA Interface - Select the set of cards for each meld separately and hit "Meld". When you have 1 card left, "Go Out" button will become available. Hit "Go Out" and not "Discard".
After someone goes out, remaining players score unmelded cards in hand:

Objective
Win by scoring the most energy points
or by enchanting all 6 Nian Shou cards for an instant victory.

Game Turn (3 Phases)
Phase 1: Reveal and Collect
Reveal cards one by one from the draw pile.

If all are different Spirits: keep going or stop and take all.

If a duplicate is revealed: stop and take only the last card.

If first 2 cards are duplicates: gain a Nian Shou card.

Use Lotus tokens to take extra revealed cards (1 token = 1 card).

Phase 2: Place Collected Cards
Choose how to place each collected card:

• Spirit side up: goes into your play area for patterns.

• Capture side up (Yin/Yang): goes on your Stock card (max 4).

Phase 3: Enchant / Capture / Compensate
Enchant a Spirit by completing a valid 4-card pattern.

Capture an opponent’s Spirit using:
• Yin card → captures Yang-protected Spirit
• Yang card → captures Yin-protected Spirit
• Yin + Yang → captures Nian Shou card

Captured card goes to your play area; used capture cards are discarded.

Opponent gains 1 token from the supply per card lost.

End of Game
Game ends when:

A player enchants 3 Spirits

OR the second draw pile runs out

OR someone enchants all 6 Nian Shou cards (instant win)

Scoring
Points from Enchanted Spirit patterns

+1 per extra Spirit-side card not in a pattern

+1 per Nian Shou card

+1 per Capture card

+1 per token in play area

Tiebreaker
Player with fewer Spirit face-up cards wins

Advanced Mode
Protection Tokens
Place token on Yin/Yang symbol of a Spirit card.

Protects that card from being captured (requires Yin + Yang to take).

Token returns to owner if the card is captured.

Tokens on enchanted patterns return to common supply.

Spirit Summoning (Once per Enchanted Spirit)
Place a Lotus token on the center of an Enchanted Spirit to activate its effect:

Turtle Snake: Choose 1 of the top 4 cards → add to play area

Vermilion Bird: Take a capture card from discard pile

Double Azure Dragon: Pick 1 of top 2 cards → add to play area

Double Metal Tiger: Take a Nian Shou card (if any left)

Yellow Unicorn: Reclaim a Lotus from another Spirit pattern

Cabaret
Place Influence tokens to form a continuous orthogonal path from one edge to the other.

You may also rally a character by occupying all 4 matching circle spaces.

Advance your Ascension token upward.

If you're behind your opponent → move 2 spaces
Racetrack
Place tokens from left to right on available tracks.
When a track fills, the player with the majority takes the character.

Return tokens; that track is now closed (overlay tile).

Objective
Win by scoring the most energy points
or by enchanting all 6 Nian Shou cards for an instant victory.

Setup
Shuffle all Celestial Spirit cards into a deck, back side visible.

Place the 6 Nian Shou cards in the center of the table.

Each player gets:
• 1 Stock card
• 2 Lotus tokens
• A hand of 4 random cards (from the main deck)

Place the remaining tokens in a common supply.

Determine the first player (the wisest starts).

Game Turn (3 Phases)
Phase 1: Reveal and Collect
Reveal cards one by one from the draw pile.

If all are different Spirits: keep going or stop and take all.

If a duplicate is revealed: stop and take only the last card.

If first 2 cards are duplicates: gain a Nian Shou card.

Use Lotus tokens to take extra revealed cards (1 token = 1 card).

Phase 2: Place Collected Cards
Choose how to place each collected card:

• Spirit side up: goes into your play area for patterns.

• Capture side up (Yin/Yang): goes on your Stock card (max 4).

Phase 3: Enchant / Capture / Compensate
Enchant a Spirit by completing a valid 4-card pattern.

Capture an opponent’s Spirit using:
• Yin card → captures Yang-protected Spirit
• Yang card → captures Yin-protected Spirit
• Yin + Yang → captures Nian Shou card

Captured card goes to your play area; used capture cards are discarded.

Opponent gains 1 token from the supply per card lost.

End of Game
Game ends when:

A player enchants 3 Spirits

OR the second draw pile runs out

OR someone enchants all 6 Nian Shou cards (instant win)

Scoring
Points from Enchanted Spirit patterns

+1 per extra Spirit-side card not in a pattern

+1 per Nian Shou card

+1 per Capture card

+1 per token in play area

Tiebreaker
Player with fewer Spirit face-up cards wins

Advanced Mode
Protection Tokens
Place token on Yin/Yang symbol of a Spirit card.

Protects that card from being captured (requires Yin + Yang to take).

Token returns to owner if the card is captured.

Tokens on enchanted patterns return to common supply.

Spirit Summoning (Once per Enchanted Spirit)
Place a Lotus token on the center of an Enchanted Spirit to activate its effect:

Turtle Snake: Choose 1 of the top 4 cards → add to play area

Vermilion Bird: Take a capture card from discard pile

Double Azure Dragon: Pick 1 of top 2 cards → add to play area

Double Metal Tiger: Take a Nian Shou card (if any left)

Yellow Unicorn: Reclaim a Lotus from another Spirit pattern

The Game
Zenith is tug-of-war style game, where you and your opponent fight for control the 5 planets and compete to be first to achieve one of the three victory conditions:

Absolute Victory: Gain 3 influence tokens from the same planet.

Democratic Victory: Gain 4 influence tokens from different planets.

Popular Victory: Gain 5 influence tokens from any combination of planets.

Winning
Play ends immediately when a player achieves one of these win conditions.

Influence
In the game, gaining influence on a planet means moving that planet's influence token towards you by the number of spaces equal to the amount of influence gained. If you move a planet's influence token to your edge of the board you keep that influence token and a new token is placed on the planet. Excess influence when arriving at the edge of the board is lost.

Planets
The planets and their respective colours are:

Beginning of the Game
Player 1 is decided randomly. Player 2 gains 1 Terra influence. Both players start with a hand of 4 cards.

Turn Structure
Select a card from your hand to use for one of three actions:

1. Diplomacy Action
Discard the card to gain the Leader Badge, plus the diplomacy bonus for the faction of the card you are discarding (Animod, Human or Robot). If gaining the Leader Badge, take it on the silver side. If you already have the Leader Badge on the silver side, turn it to the gold side. Each side of the Leader Badge increases your hand size by one; silver = 5 cards, gold = 6 cards. If you already have the Leader Badge on the gold side you only gain the diplomacy faction bonus, your hand size remains as 6.

2. Influence Action
Spend the credit cost of a card (grey resource value shown in the top left) to play that card to your stack and carry out the card's effects, from left to right. All cards provide 1 influence in its planet, plus some other effects written on the card. Effects range from gaining more influence in the same or other planets, gaining new cards to your stacks, removing cards from your opponent's stacks or even stealing cards from your opponent's stacks into your stacks.

Credit Discount
For each card previously placed in your stack for that planet, you reduce the card's credit cost by 1. For example, if your Mercury stack has 5 purple cards in it, a purple card with a credit cost of 8 would cost you 3 credits to play (8-5). If you have equal or more cards in your stack than the cost of a card, that card is free to play. You cannot gain credits for a larger stack size then the card's credit cost.

3. Technology Action
Discard the card to progress your technology marker (grey or black) on the technology track for the faction of the card (Animod, Human or Robot). To carry out this action you have to spend the required Zenithium (gold resource) to pay for the next level on the respective technology track (ranging in value from 1 to 5). When your technology marker progresses to the next level you gain the effect of that level PLUS all previous levels on that faction's track. Markers can only move one level per turn.

Technology track row bonus
When you develop all three technology tracks to one of the first three levels you gain influence on a planet of your choice. The number of influence gained matches the technology level; developing all three technology tracks to level 1 gains you 1 influence, developing all three technology tracks to level 2 gains you 2 influence and developing all three technology tracks to level 3 gains you 3 influence. This is a one-time bonus and doesn't apply to levels 4 and 5.

Bonus tokens
There are 16 bonus tokens in the game; 8 face up and 8 face down in a draw pile. The face up tokens are on each planet and on each technology track level 2 space. When a player is first to gain an influence token for a planet, or first to arrive at level 2 on a technology track they gain the effect of the respective face up bonus token. The face down tokens can also be achieved in other ways, giving a random, unknown bonus. These bonus tokens provide a one-time bonus and once they've been claimed they are removed and not replaced. These tokens provide a variety of bonus from gaining extra credits, Zenithium or cards, and even stealing resources or cards from your opponent.

There are 8 different kinds of bonus tokens:

Gain 3 credits (2 copies)

Gain 4 credits (2 copies)

Gain 1 influence on any planet (4 copies)

Take the leader badge (2 copies)

Gain 1 Zenithium (3 copies)

Mobilize 2 cards (1 copy)

Exile 2 cards (1 copy)

Transfer 1 card (1 copy)

End of Turn
Draw new cards back up to your current hand size; default hand size of 4, hand size of 5 if you have the Leader Badge on the silver side or hand size of 6 if you have the Leader Badge on the gold side. If you already have a larger hand than your current allowed hand size you will not draw new cards but you will keep all your cards and will not lose any excess. Play then passes to your opponent.

* Gain 3 credits (2 copies)
* Gain 4 credits (2 copies)
* Gain 1 influence on any planet (4 copies)
* Take the leader badge (2 copies)
* Gain 1 Zenithium (3 copies)
* Mobilize 2 cards (1 copy)
* Exile 2 cards (1 copy)
* Transfer 1 card (1 copy)

End of Turn
Draw new cards back up to your current hand size; default hand size of 4, hand size of 5 if you have the Leader Badge on the silver side or hand size of 6 if you have the Leader Badge on the gold side.
