Mandersuun: /* Game Turn */ fixing spacing

1 to 6 players - Duration 5 minutes - Complexity 1/5

==Contents==
90 cards with both sides used, or 180 sides.

Each side is composed of:

• 3 colors (blue, green, or orange)
• A number from 1 to 6 or a joker *
• 1 or 3 victory points
==Setup==
Make a draw pile with 15 cards per player, which is shuffled.
The remaining cards are set aside until the next game.
==Game Turn==
On your turn, you have 2 choices: 1 - Draw a card. 2 - Validate and score a series.

1 - When drawing a card, you have 2 choices:

- Take the top card from the draw pile without turning it over.
- Turn over the card before taking it.
This second action is mandatory if the card is identical to a card in your hand.

2 - Validate and score a series:

A series is composed of 2 to 6 cards of the same suit that follow one another consecutively (including jokers).
Select the cards in this series (from 2 to 6) and score the total victory points written on these cards.
Discard the 2 largest cards in this series, regardless of the number of cards in it.
Your 2 neighbors turn over their largest card of the suit in this series, if they have one.
Note: A neighbor only turns over a joker if it is their only card in that suit.

===There is another way to score a contract, the square pattern:===

A square pattern is made up of 9 cards on your table, 3 cards of each suit.

Warning: You do not need to validate this contract like you would for a series.
Immediately score 7 victory points as soon as this shape is achieved.
It can be obtained during a draw round or by turning over one of your cards due to an opponent validating a series.
To obtain another square and score 7 points again, you must first break your square, and then reform it.
You don't have to discard any cards, and neither do your neighbors (unlike a series).

===Front and Back of a Card===
The back of each card has the following properties compared to its front:

• The color is never identical (e.g., the back of a blue card is either green or orange)
• If a card scores 1 victory point, its back shows 3, and vice versa.
• The back of a value is always plus or minus 1 (e.g., the back of a 6 is either 5 or 1)
===Similar Cards===
At any time during the game, a similar card in your hand, following a flip, must be discarded immediately.

==End of Game==
The game ends when the central draw pile is empty.
Each player can validate a single, final set of cards, without causing any opponents to turn over their cards.
Add up your victory points.
The player with the highest score wins the game.
==Single-player mode==
In single-player mode, the goal is to achieve the highest possible score.

Build a draw pile of 35 cards.

Each turn, you must draw a card OR validate a set of cards.

At the end of each turn, simulate another player's turn by turning over the top card of the draw pile to reveal its other side.

● If one of the sides of this opponent's card is a joker, nothing happens.
● If the value of its upside-down side is strictly higher than its original side, turn over your highest-value card of the same color as the upside-down side.
Finally, discard this opponent's card and play your next turn.

'''End of the game.'''

When the central draw pile is empty, the game ends immediately. You may then validate one last set of cards. Calculate your score by adding up your victory points.

60 points or more? This performance is incredible! The legend of the draw pile is among us!
55 points You're definitely a pro!
50 points You're a model player! Respect.
45 points What talent!
40 points Nice move!
35 points Congratulations! You've reached the average score for a game of Verso!

== Overview ==

In every round, all players write down the sum of both dice (2-12) on their own score sheet in the blue 5x5 grid.

As you play the sum of a pair of dice in a row / column / diagonal row, score them.

You get double points for whatever you score on your two diagonals.

After 25 rounds, all 5x5 grids are finished. Sum up the score. The player with highest score wins.

== Finish a row / column / diagonal row ==

Score them with the combination on the left of the sheet.

The numbers can appear in any order in the row / column / diagonal. For example, "a straight without a 7" can be be 52346 or 10,8,12,9,11.

Diagonal rows are worth double points

2er (pair) = 1 point

3er (Three of a kind) = 3 points

4er (Four of a kind) = 6 points

5er (Five of a kind) = 10 points

2er + 2er (Two pairs) = 3 points

Full House (2 of one number and 3 of a different dice total, for example 69969) = 8 points

Str 7 (Straight with 7, for example 45678) = 8 points

Str 7 (Straight without 7 for example ) = 12 points

== Solo results ==

The publisher lists these tiers for solo play:

50-79: Good

80-99: Very good

100+: Amazing

It appears that anything over 50 is a win in BGA's opinion

Mandersuun: End Game conditions

== Overview ==

There are twelve 12's , eleven 11's, ten 10's... until you get to one 1; there is even one 0. There are also a few Action and Modifier cards: Flip Three (3), Freeze (3), Second Chance (3), and Score Modifiers (one each of +2, +4, +6, +8, +10, and X2).

At the end of the round when at least one person hits 200 points, the person with the most points win. You score points based on the total number value of the cards in front of you. The more valuable a card is, the more copies of that card there are in the deck.

If you flipped 7 unique number cards into your line, you automatically end the round and score 15 bonus points. However if you ever draw a second card with the same number as one already in your line, you bust and are out of the round, scoring nothing.

== Gameplay ==

Deal one card face up to each player. Then, each player in turn announce to '''Hit''' or '''Stay'''. If you '''Hit''', put the number cards in a single row with score modifier cards above them.

The round continues until either:

* there are no active players because all players have either busted or chosen to stay.

* One player can Flip 7 unique number cards ending the round immediately.

=== Action cards ===

If an '''Action Card''' comes up in dealing, the player who drew it must choose a player (including themselves) to give it to. There are three types of action cards in the game:

* '''Freeze''' scores the player their current cards and blocks them from playing in the remaining round.

* '''Flip three''' forces the player to draw three cards. Action cards drawn this way are resolved after all three have been drawn.

* '''Second chance''' prevents the player from busting once. It is discarded once used. (A player may hold only one Second Chance card. If they draw another, it must be given to another player.)

=== Modifier cards ===

Modifier cards increase the score by their value. For example, a hand of 3, 4, 12 and a modifier of +10 gives the player 29 points. Note that the x2 multiplier applies only to the base score, not the score after modification.

== Game End ==
At the end of the round when one or more players has 200 points or more, the player with the most points is the winner.
