Darkfinale: /* Overview */ BGA username: @darkfinale. Feel free to message! I have also updated the rules for 15 Days.

===Objective===

Flip 3 face-up pieces in a row (horizontally, vertically, diagonally for a colour which you have the objective token, or have the most tokens flipped face-up which you have the objective token.

=== Game Pieces ===
The game is played on a 3x3 board, with 4 pieces stacked face-down in each square.

There are 12 pieces of each colour (Red, Yellow, Blue).

For each colour, there are 11 normal tokens and 1 objective token.

===Turn===

On your turn, you can choose a stack of 4 or a stack of 2 to manipulate. For your first turn, all stacks are stacks of 4.

4-stack: choose 2 to discard, place one face-down on the bottom, and place the last one face-up on top.

2-stack: choose 1 to discard, place the other one face-up on top. Tokens placed this way are locked and can no longer be touched.

Play rotates between both players until a victory condition has been met.
===Objective Tokens===

Objective tokens can never be placed face-up on a space.

When manipulating an objective token, you can either:

1) Place it face-down when manipulating a 4-stack

2) Discard it if there is no other objective token discarded

3) Take it, if you do not own any other objective token

4) Give it, if your opponent does not own any other objective token.

=== Victory Condition ===
Flip 3 pieces face-up in a row (horizontally, vertically, diagonally) for a colour which you have the objective token.

Otherwise, when all spaces are locked, the winner is the player with the most face-up tokens of their colour.

In case of a tie, the winner is the player with the objective token matching the earlier discarded normal token.

Darkfinale: Updated wording and flow of page.

== Overview ==
Players take turns drawing and playing cards to complete Season sets, scoring points at the end of the game.

The game ends in one of two ways: Either a player completes all 4 Season sets, or any one draw pile is emptied. In the latter case, the active player finishes their turn and takes a bonus wild card if there are any left. The remaining players then take one last turn.

== Gameplay ==
The Seasons deck consists of 90 Seasons cards. There are 24 Summer, 24 Autumn, 24 Winter, and 18 Spring cards. This is broken down into 30 Summer-backed, 30 Autumn-backed, 30 Winter-backed cards. There are no Spring-backed cards. Hence, each Season card has a 4 out of 5 chance that the card's Season will match the card back. There is a 1 out of 5 chance that the card's Season will instead be Spring.

On your turn, you must take 2 actions from the 4 actions below. You can take the same action twice.

=== Actions ===

* Take 2 face-down Season cards
* Take 1 face-up Season card
* Take 1 wild card (by discarding 2 cards from your hand which are present on your board
* Play cards (by paying cards from your hand)

Animal tokens will provide boosts to various actions or increase the hand size limit.

==== Take 2 face-down Season cards ====
Take 2 cards from either face-down draw pile to your hand.

You can take from the same pile or one from each pile.

''Squirrel (brown token) power: You can take 3 face-down cards instead of 2.''

==== Take 1 face-up Season card ====
Take 1 face-up card from either of the 3 columns or the discard pile.

If the last card of any column was taken, the player who took the last card rebuilds it up to 3 cards using the face-down draw piles in any order.

''Rabbit (purple token) power: You can take 2 face-up cards instead of 1.''

==== Take 1 wild card ====
Discard 2 cards from your hand which are present on your board.

Take a wild card from the supply.

You then place that wild card in any Season, in place of a missing value.

You cannot have 2 wild cards in a Season.

In future "Play cards" actions, you can replace a wild card with the corresponding missing value. Then, move the wild card to replace another missing value.

==== Play cards ====
Play cards from your hand to your board.

The right corners have to be arranged in ascending order, and vice versa.

All Seasons must be in different corners.

A Season cannot hold multiple cards with the same value.

For each card placed, you must pay a corresponding cost:

*1 card for each card placed on an empty corner
*1 card if the card is the highest value in an ascending corner
*1 card if the card is the lowest value in a descending corner
*2 cards otherwise
''Frog (green token) power: Your Play cards action has a discount of 1, per action.''

=== Animal Tokens ===
The first player to have 3 cards in any Season takes the corresponding animal token from the supply.

Any player who has equal or higher number of Season cards than the current owner of the animal token takes it from them.

The player who loses the animal token then receives a feather token from the supply (if available).

=== Animal Powers ===

Squirrel (brown token) power: You can take 3 face-down cards instead of 2.

Rabbit (purple token) power: You can take 2 face-up cards instead of 1.

Frog (green token) power: Your Play cards action has a discount of 1, per action.

Otter (orange token) power: Your hand size limit is increased from 5 to 8.

=== Feather Tokens ===
All players start the game with 1 Feather token.

On a turn, a player may discard a Feather token to use the power of one animal token.

The power will be active for the next action on that turn.

Feather tokens can be gained when a player loses their animal token.

=== End of turn ===
At the end of your second action, you must discard down to 5 cards. (Hand size limit)

''Otter (orange token) power: Your hand size limit is increased from 5 to 8.''

== End game and Scoring ==
The game ends in one of two ways: Either a player completes all 4 Season sets, or any one draw pile is emptied. In the latter case, the active player finishes their turn and takes a bonus wild card if there are any left. The remaining players then take one last turn.

=== Scoring ===
* 1 point per card in the longest uninterrupted sequence, per Season
* 2 points per animal token
* -2 points per empty corner
The player with the most points is the winner.

In the case of a tie, the player with the most cards in hand is the winner. If players are still tied, whoever played the most wild cards is the winner.

Darkfinale: Improved upon wording and elaboration of all sections on this page. I have played this game on BGA and am currently ranked #12 on the website. User: darkfinale

== Overview ==
Players take turns to draw and play cards to complete sets of Season cards, for the most points at the end of the game.

The game ends in one of two ways: Either a player completes all 4 Seasons, or when one draw pile is emptied. In the latter case, the active player finishes their turn and takes a bonus wildcard if there are any left. The remaining players take one last turn, then scoring occurs.

== Gameplay ==
On your turn, you must take 2 actions from the 4 actions below. You are allowed to perform the same action for both actions.

The available actions are:

* Take 2 face-down Season cards from the face-down draw piles. You are allowed to draw from either or both draw piles.
* Take 1 face-up Season card from either one of the 3 face-up columns or from the face-up discard pile.
* Take 1 wild card by discarding 2 cards from your hand which are present in your board.
* Play cards to your board, paying 1 card for each card played from your hand to the face-up discard pile.

Actions are boosted if you have the corresponding wooden animal token.

==== Take 2 face-down Season cards ====
Take 2 cards from either draw pile to your hand. You can take from the same pile or one from each pile.

If you own the Squirrel (brown token), you can take 3 cards instead of 2.

''Note: The back of Season cards does not necessarily match with the Season on the front of the card. When you take a face-down card, there is a 4 out of 5 chance that the card's Season will match its back. In the remaining 1/5, the card will be a Spring. There are no Spring cards with a matching back.''

==== Take 1 face-up Season card ====
Take 1 face-up card, either from the 3 columns or the discard pile.

If you took the last card from any column, rebuild it up to 3 cards using the face-down draw piles.

If you own the Rabbit (purple token), you can take 2 face-up cards instead of 1.

==== Take 1 wild card ====
Discard 2 cards from your hand that you have already played to your board.

Take a wild card, if available, from the supply.

You then place that wild card in any Season, in place of a missing value.

You cannot have two wildcards in the same Season.

In later "Place cards" actions, you can replace a wild card with the corresponding missing value. When that happens, you must replace that wild card to fill for another missing value.

==== Play cards ====
Play cards from your hand to one of the 4 corners of your board.

The right corners are scored in ascending order, and vice versa.

You cannot have 2 corners with the same season.

A Season cannot hold two cards with the same value.

For each card you placed, you need to pay a corresponding cost:

* 1 card for each card placed on an empty corner
* 1 card if the card is the highest value in an ascending corner
* 1 card if the card is the lowest value in a descending corner
* 2 cards otherwise

=== Animal Tokens ===
The first player to have 3+ cards in any Season takes the corresponding animal token from the supply.

Any player who has equal or higher number of Season cards than the current owner of the animal token takes it from them.

They then receive a feather token from the supply (if available).

=== Feather Tokens ===
All players start the game with 1 Feather token.

Feather tokens can be gained when a player loses their animal token.

On a turn, a player can discard a Feather token to use the power of one animal token.

This power will be active for the next action on that turn.

=== Animal effects ===

Frog (green token) - Your discard action has a discount of 1, per action.

Squirrel (brown token) - When taking face-down Season cards, take 3 instead of 2 face-down cards.

Rabbit (purple token) - When taking face-up Season cards, take 2 instead of 1 face-down card.

Otter (orange token) - Your hand limit is increased to 8.

=== End of turn ===
At the end of your second action, you must discard down to 5 cards.

If you own the Otter (orange token), you can keep up to 8 cards at the end of your turn.

== End game and Scoring ==
The game ends in one of two ways: Either a player completes all 4 Seasons, or when one draw pile is emptied. In the latter case, the active player finishes their turn and takes a bonus wildcard if there are any left. The remaining players take one last turn, then scoring occurs.

Scoring per player

* 1 point per card in the longest uninterrupted sequence, per Season
* 2 points per animal token
* -2 points per empty corner
The player with the most points is the winner.
