GAME IDEA AND OBJECTIVE

Grab the diamonds! Before someone else snatches them away! In BRILLIANT, you aim to fill the fields on your sheet with numbers faster than everyone else. To do this, you must write one of the two rolled numbers next to an already entered number. The grid is divided into areas of different colors, each with specific rules for entering numbers. The faster you complete an area, the more points you earn. The player who first reaches a certain minimum score at the end of the game wins.

GAME SETUP

Each player takes a sheet of the same level. Write the six starting numbers from 1 to 6 in fields of six different areas of the grid (one number per area).

For the first game, it is recommended to use Level 1 and enter the six starting numbers from 1 to 6 in the fields marked with a small star. Alternatively, you can freely choose the starting fields. The important thing is that they belong to different areas.

GAMEPLAY

When the game begins, both dice are rolled. You can now enter one of the rolled numbers into your grid. The chosen number must be written vertically or horizontally next to another already entered number.
For example, if you roll a 2 and a 5, you can choose to write a 2 next to an already entered 5, or a 5 next to an already entered 2.
A new number is always entered orthogonally—above, below, right, or left of the already entered number.
Be sure to follow the rules of the respective area, which are explained below under "Area Rules."
Since everyone plays simultaneously, the rolled result applies to all players. However, you don't all have to enter the same number.
The next player clockwise then takes both dice, rolls again, and the game continues.
Note: During the game, it may happen that a dice roll cannot be used, and you cannot enter a number. In this case, you skip the entry and hope the next roll suits you better.

AREA RULES

In green areas, there are no restrictions. You can enter any number in any green field.

In blue and gray areas, all numbers must be the same.

In red and yellow areas, all numbers must be different. No number may be repeated.

In purple areas, only up to two different numbers may be entered. Three or more different numbers are not allowed.

In orange areas, you may only enter numbers from 1–3 or from 4–6.

COMPLETING AN AREA

When you complete an area, immediately announce which area you have completed. If no one else has completed it yet, circle the highest of the three point values in this area, while all other players cross out this value on their sheets. You then mark these points on the scoring track at the top of your sheet by crossing out the corresponding points.

If another player later completes the same area, they receive the second point value, circle it, and all other players cross it out. This player also marks the respective points on their scoring track.

If multiple players complete the same area in the same turn, they all receive the same point value and circle it. The third point value for an area is never crossed out. All players who complete an area can still achieve these points, even if the higher points have already been taken.

END OF GAME

After several rounds, when multiple areas have been completed and a player reaches (or exceeds) a certain score on the scoring track, the game ends.

If you played with 5 or more players, you need to reach 20 points. With 4 players, it's 22 points, and with 3 players, it's 24 points. If playing with 2 players, you need at least 26 points. If you achieve this, you win.

It may happen that multiple players reach or exceed the required points simultaneously. In this case, the player with the highest score wins. If there is a tie, all players with the highest score win.

= Arboretum: Rules and Gameplay =

== Objective and Overview ==

In Arboretum, players compete to create the most beautiful and high-scoring arboretum by arranging cards in a meaningful path of trees for 2-4 players.

Arboretum consists of 80 cards, divided into 10 unique tree species, each numbered 1–8. Each player is dealt 7 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a draw pile in the center of the table.

== Game Play ==

Players take turns in clockwise order. Each turn consists of three phases:

=== 1. Draw ===

Draw '''two cards''' from the available sources:
* The central draw pile.
* The top card of any discard pile (including your own).

=== 2. Play ===

Choose '''one card''' from your hand to add to your arboretum.
* Place it face-up in front of you.
* Cards in your arboretum must be arranged orthogonally (no diagonal connections).
* You are building paths, and the arrangement impacts your score.

=== 3. Discard ===

Discard '''one card''' face-up to your personal discard pile.

== End of the Game ==

The game ends when the draw pile is depleted. After the final card is drawn, players take one last turn before scoring.

== Scoring ==

Scoring is based on paths of cards in your arboretum:

=== Path Rules ===

A valid path starts and ends with cards of the same tree species.
The path must increase in value numerically but does not need to be consecutive.
Paths can include cards of other species.

=== Determining Rights to Score ===

Each player reveals their remaining hand.
To score a species, you must have the '''highest sum of values''' of that species in your hand.
If another player has the '''1 card''' of a species in their hand, and you have the '''8 card''' of that species in your hand, the '''8''' is considered a '''0 card''' instead!

=== Calculating Points ===

'''+1 point''' for each card in the valid path.
'''+2 points''' if the path starts with a 1 card.
'''+2 points''' if the path ends with an 8 card.
'''Double points''' for paths containing only cards of the species being scored.

=== Winning ===

The player with the highest total score after final scoring wins.
In the event of a tie, the tied player with the longest individual path wins.

== Strategy Notes ==

Balance your hand to maintain scoring potential while disrupting opponents.
Pay attention to your opponents' discard piles for hints about their strategy.
Use high-value cards tactically to secure scoring rights.

== Overview ==

"Fromage" is "Cheese" in French. In this game you are a small-town French cheesemaker in the early 20th century making, aging and selling your artisanal cheese. Your journey is a symphony of passion and dedication as your strive to create the most prestigious creamery with the most sought-cheeses in all of France.

'''Fromage''' is a simultaneous worker-placement game where you make cheese and gather resources by placing workers onto the board quadrant that is facing you. Once all players have finished their actions, the board rotates, aging the cheese, and presenting everyone with a new quadrant. At the end of the game, you score points for your cheese and for effectively managing your creamery. The player with the most points wins.

==== Game Board ====
The game board has 4 quadrants. Each quadrant includes a "Gather Resources" part (upper) and a "Make Cheese" part (lower), corresponding to the two actions you can take in a turn.

Each player has their own player board. The player board includes 4 rows of resources:

- '''Structures''', which are stored to the left of your '''Structure Abilities''' .

- '''Livestock''', which are placed in your pasture.

- '''Fruit''', which goes in your basket.

- '''Orders''', which are placed on the side of your board

== Gameplay ==

All players '''retrieve workers''' at the start of each turn. Then all players '''simultaneously''' take actions in the quadrant that is facing them currently (the bottom one in BGA). Use your available workers to perform ONE '''Gather Resources''' and/or ONE '''Make Cheese''' action in either order. After everyone finishes their actions, rotate the board clockwise to the next quadrant at the end of the turn.

==== Retrieve Workers ====
Retrieve any of your workers that are now pointed at you.

==== Gather Resources ====
Place a worker in this section of your quadrant to gain 1, 2, or 3 of the depicted resource. The type of worker used does not affect this action. The more of a resource you take, the longer the worker remains on the board.

==== Make Cheese ====
Place a worker in this section of your quadrant to make cheese. The type of worker you use must match the type of cheese. When placing the worker, you also place one of your cheese tokens. (Reminder: When a player runs out of cheese tokens, this triggers the end of the game!)

If the space has a fruit or jam symbol, you must have a fruit in your fruit basket to make this cheese. You then move one fruit from your basket to the fruited cheese or jam space on your board, as matches the cheese you're making. At the end of the game, fruit you've used to make cheese will score (your fruited cheese pile multiplied by your jam pile).

Your worker will return to you at the end of 1, 2, or 3 turns based on if it was placed on a bronze, silver, or gold spot. Your cheese token will remain on the board for the rest of the game, blocking all players from using that space again.

====== '''Venues: Festival''' ======

====== '''Venues: Fromagerie''' ======

====== '''Venues: Bistro''' ======

====== '''Venues: Villes''' ======

== End of the Game ==

End of the game is triggered when a player places their final Cheese Token. When all players finish the current turn, the game ends. Players will then score from a variety of sources:

The four different venues each score differently.

Your used fruit will score the number of fruited cheese multiplied by the number of jams you've made.

Your completed order cards will score based on the chart on the bottom right of your board.

Some structure tiles will give you additional points.

And finally, every 2 unused resources on your player board scores 1 point.

The player with the most points wins. If tied, the player that made more cheese wins. If still tied, victory is shared.

AdamPalma: The rules previously said 21 or more is a bust, but according to both how the game is programmed here and the official rulebook, it should say over 21 is a bust (like in Blackjack).

12 Chip Trick is a trick-taking game for exactly 3 players, the players are attempting to score the most points, but if a player scores 21 or more, their points are halved.‎
The game uses 12 discs, half red and half black, numbered 1 to 12. It is a "may follow" game where the players draft the discs played to the trick back to their hands. The winner takes a disc face up, not to be used again. The other players take discs face down, into their hands.
The round ends once a player has no discs to play. All players reveal their 4 discs and sum their points. The player with the most points in 3 rounds wins.‎
‎
How to Play:‎
Each player, starting with the first player, takes a turn by turning over one of their face-down chips. The color doesn't matter.
Whomever played the highest number, regardless of color, becomes the next lead player. The chips from the previous trick are collected in clockwise order, starting with the person who just took the lead.‎
‎
Chip taking rules:‎
1. If there is a red chip, you must take it. You can choose any red chip if there are several.‎
2. The new lead will put the chip they take in front of them face up. The number on the chip shows how many points will be scored. The other players will put their chips face down, and they may use them in a later trick.‎
‎
Start of new trick:‎
If the lead has any face-down chips, they play one of them, and another trick is started.‎
‎
End of round:‎
The round is over when a person has four face-up chips, and all face-down chips are turned over.‎
‎
Scoring:‎
Add up the points for each person. If a player's chips add up to 22 or more, the value is cut in half.‎
In the next round, the person to the left of the person who started the last round will be the first person to start the next round. The chips are taken, mixed up, and each person starts with two black chips and two red chips.
The game ends after three rounds.
