== Overview ==

Zenith is tug-of-war style game, where you and your opponent fight for control the 5 planets and compete to be first to achieve one of the three victory conditions:
:{{zenithInfluence|<nowiki>3=</nowiki>}} '''Absolute Victory''': Gain 3 influence tokens from the same planet.
:{{zenithInfluence|4≠}} '''Democratic Victory''': Gain 4 influence tokens from different planets.
:{{zenithInfluence|5}} '''Popular Victory''': Gain 5 influence tokens from any combination of planets.

== Influence {{zenithInfluence}} ==

* +1 influence on a planet = move that planet's influence token 1 space towards you.
* When an influence token reaches your edge of the board, you keep it and a new token is placed on the planet.
* Excess influence when arriving at the edge of the board is lost.

{|class="wikitable" style="width:auto;text-align:center;" border="2"
|Terra
|Jupiter
|}

== Setup ==

* 1st player is decided randomly.
* 2nd player gains 1 Terra influence (moving {{zenithTerra|1🡇}} space towards their control zone).
* Both players start with {{card|4|background=#eb5|borderColor=#b83}} cards.

== Turn Structure ==

Select {{card|1|background=#eb5|borderColor=#b83}} from your hand to use for one of three actions:

=== 1. Diplomacy Action {{zenithLeaderSilver}} ===

* Discard {{card|1|background=#eb5|borderColor=#b83}} to gain the Leader Badge {{zenithLeaderSilver}} (silver side), plus the diplomacy bonus for the faction of the card you are discarding.
** Robot : Take the Leader badge and gain 1 Zenithium.
** Human : Take the Leader badge and gain 3 Credits.
** Animod : Take the Leader badge and mobilize 2 cards.
* If you already have {{zenithLeaderSilver}}, turn it to the gold side {{zenithLeaderGold}}.
* Each side of the Leader Badge increases your hand size by one {{zenithLeaderSilver|5}}{{zenithLeaderGold|6}}.
** If you already have {{zenithLeaderGold}}, your hand size remains at 6.

=== 2. Influence Action {{zenithInfluence|🡇}} ===

* Spend the credits {{zenithCredit}} cost of a card to play that card on your stack and carry out the card's effects (left to right).
* All cards provide {{zenithInfluence|1🡇}} for its planet plus other effects shown on the card.
* Effects range from gaining more influence in the same or other planets, gaining new cards on your stacks, removing cards from your opponent's stacks or even stealing cards from your opponent's stacks onto your stacks.

==== Credit Discount {{zenithCredit|-#}} ====

* For each card previously placed in your stack for that planet, {{zenithCredit|-1}} from the card cost.
** e.g. if your Mercury stack has {{card|5|color=white|background=purple}}, an {{zenithCredit|8}} cost {{card|background=purple}} would cost {{zenithCredit|8}} '''−''' {{card|5|color=white|background=purple}} = {{zenithCredit|3}}.
** If you have more cards than the cost, it is free (but do not gain {{zenithCredit}}).

=== 3. Technology Action {{zenithTechWhite}} / {{zenithTechBlack}} ===

* Discard the card to progress your Tech marker ({{zenithTechWhite}} / {{zenithTechBlack}}) on the technology track for the faction of the card (Animod, Human or Robot).
* To carry out this action you have to spend the required Zenithium ({{zenithZenithium}}) to pay for the next level on the respective technology track.
* When your Tech marker progresses to the next level, gain the effect of that level '''plus''' all previous levels on that faction's track.
* Markers can only move one level per turn.

==== Technology track row bonus ====

* When you develop '''all three technology tracks to the same level''', you gain influence on a planet of your choice:
{|class="wikitable" style="width:auto;text-align:center;" border="2"
|{{zenithInfluence|2🡇}}
|{{zenithInfluence|3🡇}}
|}
* One-time bonus.
* Not levels 4 and 5.

=== Bonus tokens {{zenithBonus}} ===

* There are 16 bonus tokens in the game; 8 face up and 8 face down in a draw pile.
* Each planet has a face up bonus.
** 1st player to gain {{zenithInfluence}} for a planet gains it.
* Each technology track level 2 space has a face up bonus.
** 1st player to arrive at level 2 on a technology track gains it.
* Face down bonuses can also be achieved in other ways.
* Used bonuses are not replaced.

Cdaveb: Added information about game end

In ''The Architects of Amytis'', you choose one of the (up to 9) tiles available on the central board and immediately place one of your Architect pawns on the corresponding pile. This pile is now reserved, in the manner of a worker placement game: neither you nor your opponent can return to it until it is released. As for the chosen tile, you place it freely on your City Board: on any of the 9 slots (you can even freely overlap your tiles to create higher or lower stacks).

'''Tiles'''

A tile has 2 pieces of information: a building type, and a color. Immediately score points for the Building type when you place it. There are 6 types of building, each with a choice among 2 scoring options, to provide variety and replayability. The colors of your tiles will be used to complete King’s Projects: cards that you can collect throughout the game, representing a colored pattern. You start the game with 3 projects. If you reproduce one of these patterns, the project is completed, and the King will award you the corresponding points at the end of the game.

'''King's Favor'''

This game’s most pleasant and clever feature appears on the central board. As you play your Architect pawn turn after turn, if at any time you manage to align 3 of them (in a row, column or diagonal) you immediately win a King’s Favor: a new type of scoring reserved for you and triggered at the end of the game. Your options are located below the central board.

Each turn, juggle wisely these 3 types of scoring (Buildings, Projects and Favors) to optimize your strategy. The most prestigious city will be chosen by the King and will bring you Victory!

'''Game End'''

The game end is triggered when someone takes the final tile from a stack and there was already another empty stack. If the person who triggered the game end was the first player, the other player will get one more turn.

Cdaveb: Clarified some of the endgame scoring

===Setup===

At the start, you receive two pieces to place on your board, these must go on separate columns

===Turn===

On your turn, pick one Kokeshi and move it 1 space upwards then resolve effects resulting from this, you can move your Kokeshi onto a blank or filled space

===Movement Results===

If the space is empty, move the Kokeshi back home and take a new tile (you can purchase a Quality tile if you are high enough and pass the threshold shown on the left)

If the space has a normal tile, activate it

If the space has a Quality tile, activate it then move that piece one more space and trigger the outcome on the next space

If the space is the end of the track, gain 3 Happiness and return home

===Tile Effects===

If a tile has a slash, you can only perform the action on one side

Any Kokeshi movement is always upwards, like your starter movement

If it depicts a Kokeshi, move that Kokeshi 1 space

If it depicts a group of Kokeshi with a large arrow to left or right, move a single Kokeshi who resides in that direction (placement note: as such, think about who you can affect when placing these, and try not to put a right arrow on the far right as this will affect nothing, same as a left arrow on the far left will do nothing)

If it depicts a group of Kokeshi with two up arrows, move a single Kokeshi of your choice 2 spaces but only resolve the effects of the 2nd space

If it depicts an Animal, move that Animal 1 space

If it depicts a group of Animals, move an animal of your choice 1 space

If it depicts a black tile, take a tile and place it as depicted, the arrows will show where it can be placed e.g. only that track, or any track

===Cascade===

Effects may trigger further effects, such as if you move a different Kokeshi onto a new tile on its track which depicts an effect

As such, fully resolve your initial Kokeshi, the one you first moved, before resolving the effects of the next Kokeshi, and resolve that one fully before resolving effects of Kokeshi it affects

===Tile Placement===

Except for instances such as the anywhere tile placement effect, tiles will be placed on the same track which triggered their creation

If a track is full, when landing on a tile which gives tiles to that track, ignore the effect

If multiple tiles are gained for a track, these can be placed in whichever order you choose

If you have some tiles which can be allocated to any track, and some which can only be allocated to a particular track, the any track tiles can still be added to that track, and again in an order of your choosing

Be warned: Tiles placed orthogonally adjacent to tiles of the same shade will lose 3 Happiness, but can still be placed

===Quality Tiles===

Quality Tiles follow the same tile placement restrictions as shown above

To gain a Quality Tile, either land on an empty space higher than its level on the left of the board with your Kokeshi, or pass the red line on the Animal track

The Quality Tile gained must be placed on the same track as the Kokeshi depicted within it

The Quality Tile must be placed on a space equal or higher than the matching threshold on the left, e.g. a Level 3 Quality cannot be placed below the level 3 threshold i.e. it has to be placed in the top space only

Each Kokeshi track can only hold a single Quality tile regardless of level

One player will always miss out on gaining a Quality tile for a Kokeshi, as such when everyone but 1 player has taken a Quality for a particular Kokeshi, discard the rest of that Kokeshi's Quality Tiles. Remember, the player who misses out can be different for each Kokeshi, missing out on one does not cut you out from all of them.

===Animal Tracks===

As well as passing the red line to gain Quality Tiles as discussed, these tracks also hold bonus tiles which can be gained on a first come first served basis. The earlier ones are related to a single track, whilst the later ones can be claimed by reaching the space on either track they cover.

===Game End===

The game ends after a player collects 5 Quality Tiles (or 4 in a 4-player game)

== Scoring ==

=== End Game Scoring ===

1. Position of where are you on the each animal track scores the point on top of the track.

2. For each animal track that you are ahead of your opponent(s), you score 3 additional points.

3. Recognition tiles placed on your workshop board score the scores on the tile.

4. The highest tile of each of your kokeshi doll tracks scores the points on the right on the board.

5. -3 points for each two tiles on your workshop board of the same color that are orthogonally adjacent to each other.

=== In-Game Scoring ===

1. 3 points each time your kokeshi doll hit the top of the board and returned to the starting point.
